That really is a lemon tree and it's me in sunny California for a quilt show.  I really lucked out getting this assignment.  I took 3 days of classes with  Angela Walters, a quilting teacher.  I love her quilting and I learned so much from her. It was very fun.

I came home and made several quilts using what I learned from Angela, including a sampler of lots of designs for quilting modern quilts.

I've had lots of time to quilt, which is maybe why I don't mind winter.  These are some ideas I came up with using stencils as a starting point.

Jerry's Birthday, family, his favorite chocolate cake with white fluffy frosting.  I really love this guy.  They don't come any better.
