Back in the Groove...

We "UNINVITED" our children to Thanksgiving dinner and left for two weeks on a cruise through the Panama Cananl. We had two weeks of fun, lots of food and plenty of time to work on a quilt while enjoying the sun.
I made the blocks for this quilt and then before I sewed them together, I needed something to work on while we were traveling. I sewed and sewed on the border and then when I got the blocks sewed together they looked like swastika's. I was so bumbed. I took the quilt on my cruise and worked on disguising them.

It turned out to be a magnet. Other quilters would see me sewing and stop by to visit. I met quilters from Texas, Michigan, England and Seattle. Lots of quilters just pulled up a chair and sat and visited. It was fun to meet so many people with the same love.
Now I have the quilt on the sewing machine and I've decided to call it PANAMA. It kind of has that look to it anyway. Cruise was fun. I got the blocks done. And now I am slowly quilting it to death.
